Leaves: deciduous, opposite, 1-2" long, .5-1.25" wide, simple, ovate, acute, rounded, entire or with full teeth, petiole about .25" long, pubescent, dull-green above, silvery tomentose below

Twigs: slender, 4-sided, pubescent, grayish green, nodes flattened

Flowers: perfect, powder-blue, borne on small cymes from axils of the uppermost leaves
